My first experience with a chiropractor was when I was 17 years old. For five years I suffered from low back and leg pain as a result of a fall. I was unable to get any relief from my family MD, neurologist, or orthopedist. Their advice to me was to quit all sports activities. It was at this time someone suggested I try chiropractic. Within two weeks I was playing a full game of soccer with no pain. After experiencing such great results, I decided to devote my life to helping others as a chiropractor. I attended Aurora University near Chicago and completed my undergraduate Health Sciences coursework; I graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA in 1989.
After many years of working in health care, I could not deny the importance of nutrition for overall health maintenance. In 2010 I received my degree in Naturopathic Medicine from The American Naturopathic Medical Institute. I also hold certificates from Ulan Nutritional Systems in Nutrition Response Testing.
It is my passion to help as many people as possible with upper-cervical chiropractic, nutrition response testing combined with personalized, clinically-designed nutritional programs, and education.
